Meet Alyssa
Alyssa Davenport, owner and interior designer at Anno Domini is focused on individual, thoughtful and responsible design. Raised by two professionals in the field, she has an innate gift for design that has been furthered by schooling and years of skillful experience. After working in the corporate world of design, she started Anno Domini, centered on what makes each person different and a desire to create homes to be unique to the individual rather than widely accepted by the world.
Primarily located in San Antonio Texas, Anno Domini serves those who are ready to defy social trends, use bold color palettes and welcome environmentally sustainable materials. Anno Domini partners with a growing list of local and global vendors vetted for quality craftsmanship. Alyssa has a desire for supporting the small business economy while creating your aesthetic and sources vintage thrift store finds to one-of-a-kind artisan-made objects.
When she isn't working, Alyssa enjoys antiquing for new treasures, traveling, hiking or reading a new book.
What Inspires Me?
I'm inspired by the unique, out of the box ways of doing things. The ideas and thoughts that push the limits to what is "normal". I'm inspired by lots of color, particularly pink.
My current obsession is my apartment, the second story of a beautiful home built in 1933. I love being able to tap into the historical context of the home, while adding a modern and creative touch.
